Several districts and counties in Neijiang

1. According to the inquiry of Neijiang Municipal People's Government, two districts and two counties in Neijiang are downtown areas: the downtown area belongs to Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, located between Chongqing and Chengdu, and is an important intersection of traffic from southeast to southwest provinces. It is called the hub of Sichuan, and the city center is the political, economic and cultural center of Neijiang.

2. Dongxing District: It belongs to Neijiang City, Sichuan Province and is located in the south-central Sichuan Basin, with a total area of 1 180.58 square kilometers. Dongxing District was once called "Sweet City" because of its rich sugarcane and developed sugar industry.

3. Zizhong County: Zizhong County belongs to Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, and was called Zizhou in ancient times. Located in the middle of Sichuan Basin, it is one of the first 27 counties with strong power expansion in Sichuan.

4. Weiyuan County: Weiyuan County belongs to Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, located in the northwest of Neijiang City and the south-central Sichuan Basin, with an area of 1.289 square kilometers. The hottest weather in Weiyuan County is 6 to 10 degrees Celsius lower than that in surrounding cities, and it is called "the green island in the red basin and the balcony in the hot basin".
