Geography of Huanglong county
It is adjacent to Luochuan in the west, Baishui, Chengcheng and Heyang in the south, Hancheng in the east and Yichuan in the north. It is a transitional zone between Weibei dry plateau in Shaanxi and Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi, and belongs to a rare semi-humid warm temperate climate zone north of Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi.
Huanglong County is located at east longitude109 38' 49 "~1016' 49" and north latitude 35 24' 09 "~ 36 02'11". It belongs to continental semi-humid monsoon climate. In winter, Mongolia is cold, high pressure and polar.
The weather is cold and dry, and precipitation is scarce. In spring, the influence of heating mass increases, the temperature rises rapidly, there are many strong winds, and the precipitation increases relatively. In summer, affected by Mongolian cyclone and Pacific subtropical ocean air mass, the weather is warm and rainy, precipitation is concentrated, and there are many showers, and the precipitation ranks first in the whole year.
