CINRAD/CC Doppler weather radar

CINRAD/CC radar is a new generation of C-band Doppler weather radar. The maximum detection radius of Doppler radar is 460 kilometers. It has good Doppler velocity measurement ability and strong monitoring and early warning ability for severe weather such as rainstorm, hail and tornado, which includes most of the monitoring and early warning contents of severe weather. Doppler radar also has a good performance of quantitative measurement of echo intensity, which can quantitatively estimate a large range of precipitation, breaking through the limitation that conventional radar can only estimate precipitation qualitatively, and its continuous observation ability is greatly improved compared with conventional radar. Doppler weather radar is an intelligent detection system, which can not only provide all kinds of image analysis information in real time, but also automatically identify and track all kinds of disastrous weather products in quasi-real time.
