Geographical environment in Naqu area

Located in northern Tibet, in the hinterland of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the geographical position is about 83 degrees 55 minutes to 95 degrees 5 minutes east longitude and 29 degrees 55 minutes to 36 degrees 30 minutes north latitude. High altitude, insufficient heat, cold and dry climate, oxygen content is only half of sea level. This is one of the worst climatic conditions in Tibet, and it is a typical sub-cold zone. Cold and anoxic, dry climate, large temperature difference between day and night, windy weather, annual average temperature of -0.9℃ to -3.3℃, annual relative humidity of 48-5 1%, annual average rainfall of only 100-200mm, and annual sunshine hours of 2852.6-288/kloc-0.

Every year 1 1 to March of the following year is a dry and windy period in northern Tibet. Once it snows, it will easily turn into a snowstorm. During this period, the climate is dry, the temperature is low, and the oxygen-deficient sandstorm is large and lasts for a long time. May to September is relatively warm, which is the golden season of grassland. The climate is mild and the weather is pleasant. Rainfall accounts for 80% of the whole year, and the growth period of green plants is about 100 days, all of which are concentrated in this season.
