The solution to the problem that the water temperature of the automobile engine is 97 degrees and the instrument indicates that it reaches the red line (warning line);

(1) The water pump opens the water tank cover and starts the engine, so that the engine runs alternately at high and low speeds. At the same time, check whether there is obvious tumbling phenomenon in the water tank. If there is, it can be considered that the water pump is normal. ?

(2) Thermostat Remove the thermostat and check the opening temperature of the thermostat. Hang the thermostat and thermometer in the water container, then heat the container, check the initial opening temperature of the thermostat, continue heating, record the full opening temperature of the thermostat, and check whether these two temperatures are within a reasonable range. Finally, stop heating, and when the water temperature drops below 82℃, check whether the thermostat is in the closed position. Otherwise, the thermostat needs to be repaired or replaced.

(3) The water tank (including radiator) should check whether there is scale on the surface of the water tank, and whether the cooling air duct and the water flow channel inside the water tank are unobstructed. If necessary, please ask a professional to open it for cleaning.

(4) Check whether the fan blades are damaged, severely deformed or installed backwards, and whether there is shimmy. If there is, rule it out immediately.

(5) Press the fan belt by hand to check whether the tightness is normal. If the belt is loose, it is necessary to further check whether the fan belt slips.

(6) Air-guide cooling system Water-cooled engine mostly adopts air-suction cooling. The air on both sides of the water tank can't produce convection phenomenon, and other parts should be cut off except the radiator air duct of the water tank. It should not be ignored that after many machines are used for a period of time, the barrier materials are seriously aging and falling off, which makes the air ducts around the water tank reduce the air flow through the water tank and cause high temperature.

The engine and air conditioning system do not dissipate heat well, resulting in high water temperature. Generally, the following six faults will occur (applicable to FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC):

(1) When there is traffic jam or idling for a long time, the engine water temperature meter shows too high, the electronic fan works in high gear for too long, and the engine noise increases, especially when the air conditioner is turned on in hot weather.

(2) Air conditioning in hot weather, the idle speed is unstable, the speed fluctuates too much, the engine is weak when accelerating rapidly, and the engine has abnormal sound;

(3) It is not good to start the car again after the hot car is turned off for more than ten minutes;

(4) Hot cars sometimes turn off automatically when driving;

(5) The air-conditioning refrigeration temperature is very cold when the car is cold, and the air-conditioning refrigeration effect is not good when the car is hot, and the air-conditioning system has a great * * * vibration buzz;

(6) When the hot car is idling, the clutch of the air-conditioning compressor is frequently engaged or even disengaged, resulting in no cooling of the air conditioner of the hot car.
