Liu Boming's Life Experience

1September 1966 16, a baby boy was born in an ordinary farmer's home in Dongsheng village, Hongxing Township, Yi 'an County, Heilongjiang Province, and his father Liu Zhisheng named him Liu Boming.

Liu Boming has six brothers and sisters, and he is the second in the family. 1983, when Liu Boming was admitted to Yi 'an No.1 Middle School to attend high school, his family had to provide five children with schooling at the same time, and his father, who made a living by farming, was already deeply tired.

Knowing the difficulties at home, Liu Boming decided not to live on campus like other students, but to run away from school. My father gritted his teeth and spent more than 100 yuan to buy him a second-hand "Baishan" bike for him to go to and from school.

The school is close to home 10 km, and there are potholed dirt roads everywhere. It's hard to walk when the weather is fine, but when it rains, it turns into black mud, and it's hard to leave. The road is icy and slippery in winter. Liu Zhisheng said that in senior three, Liu Boming got up at three or four o'clock every day, and it was dark when he left, and it was dark when he came home, and there was no sun at both ends. "This is very sinful, but there is no way. This is the condition at home."

Zhang Fulin, the head teacher of senior three in Liu Boming and now the deputy director of Yi 'an Education Bureau, said that winter in Yi 'an is very cold. Even if it didn't snow, when Liu Boming rode to school, his face, neck and body were covered with frost and his clothes were soaked, so he was nicknamed "Snowman" by his classmates. But no matter how heavy it rains or snows, he never comes late or leaves early.

His father, Liu Zhisheng, said that although it was hard to ride a bicycle to and from 20 kilometers every day, Liu Boming had never been sick or even caught a cold in high school for three years. Zhang Fulin said that three years of high school have exercised Liu Boming's strong physique and strong will, which has laid a solid foundation for his future.

1985, the air force recruited pilots in Yi 'an County, and strict physical fitness standards made many applicants eliminated at the first level. Liu Boming, on the other hand, passed easily. The English score in the senior high school entrance examination is zero.

Zhang Shuhe, a third-grade Chinese teacher in Liu Boming, said that Boming's grades have been very good. At that time, the whole class was admitted to only five or six high schools, and he was one of them. However, Zhang Shuhe also revealed that Liu Boming scored zero in English for the senior high school entrance examination. It turns out that in the rural school where Liu Boming junior high school was studying, the English class was only half a year at that time, and there was no regular English teacher. All the students in the senior high school entrance examination are graded in English. But even in the absence of scores, Liu Boming was admitted to No.1 Middle School in the county.

After entering senior high school, Liu Boming redoubled his efforts in English study. Liu Zhisheng, his father, said, "He even recited words when he walked across the street and worked." Liu Boming's English is the best among astronauts now.

Liu Boming first came into contact with the word "aerospace" from an English extracurricular material in high school. "'For individuals, this is just a small step; But this is a big step for mankind. "I was shocked to read this sentence when Armstrong landed on the moon. His realm is very high, and aerospace is indeed the cause of all mankind. " Liu Boming said afterwards.

1985, after passing the strict physical examination of pilots' recruitment, Liu Boming passed the cultural examination without any suspense and entered the Air Force Changchun Flight Academy (now Air Force Aviation University).

From Changchun Flight Academy to Mudanjiang Chujiao Airport, and then to Jinzhou Flight Brigade, I started flying solo at 199 1 and independently piloted 歼 8. 1998, he and Zhai Zhigang were selected as the first astronauts in China.

Just like the determined teenager who rode his bike back and forth on the muddy road in his hometown more than 20 years ago, today's Liu Boming has made remarkable achievements in the face of the arduous training of astronauts with the tenacity of that year. Liu Boming, known as "Little Zhuge", likes to get involved in everything except studying hard. Whether he is a pilot or an astronaut, he won't fail every test. On one occasion, an instructor who is famous for his tricky questions was "shocked" by Liu Boming's answer after asking him more than a dozen "corner questions" in a row, and since then he has adopted a "no hands-on" policy.

For the "Shenzhou VI" flying, my father Liu Zhisheng thinks that even if he can't go to heaven this time, it's already very good that his son can be selected. Now, he just wants his son to practice. After all, there will be many opportunities in the future
