The water on the floor will evaporate in hot weather. High temperature weather will raise the ground temperature. When the ground temperature exceeds the boiling point of water, the water will turn into steam and evaporate into the air. Evaporation refers to the process of changing liquid into gas, and molecules change from liquid to gas. Evaporation usually occurs on the surface of liquid. When the temperature of the liquid reaches its saturated vapor pressure, the number of molecules entering the gas phase from the liquid surface will exceed the number of molecules flowing back from the gas phase to the liquid, resulting in evaporation. In the process of evaporation, liquid molecules absorb heat, kinetic energy increases and molecular velocity increases. Some molecules can overcome the gravity barrier on the liquid surface and escape from the liquid surface to the gas phase to form steam. Evaporation rate is affected by temperature, surface area, air humidity and wind power.
