"Stone Drum" is just one of the many landscapes on the Lotus Peak in Tianya Mountain, but its reputation has a long history. It was not only recorded in many ancient books after the Tang and Song Dynasties, but also became famous as early as the Southern Dynasties. For example, in the History of the North, there is a description of "repairing the stone drum mountain and cutting the steps". The "Xiurong" here is Xiurong County established in the second year of Yongxing in the Northern Wei Dynasty (AD 4 10). It can be seen that "Shigu Mountain" became famous more than 500 years ago. People used to call Tianya Mountain and Shigu Mountain in ancient times "Tianya Stone", but in fact "Tianya Mountain" and "Shigu Mountain" are actually two mountains. Living in Tianya in the east and Lion Mountain (namely Lotus Peak) in the west. The two mountains are close to each other, so they gradually merge into one.
