1, drying and storage method: Old people often say that "green onions are not afraid of freezing, but they are afraid of moving". Green onions should be stored in a cool place. Don't turn one when eating, it can be kept for a long time. The specific method is as follows.

After buying fresh green onions, don't move the roots and leaves. If some leaves rot or break, cut them off. Then untie it, spread it in the sun for half a day, and dry all the water on the surface, so that onions are not easy to rot and deteriorate.

When stored, it should be kept in a dry, cool and low temperature environment. In the north, it should be placed directly on the balcony or yard, and the dried green onions should be placed in cartons or newspapers to keep dry. Although green onions are not afraid of cold, they cannot stay below freezing point for a long time. Freezing will destroy the structure of scallion, and it will become soft and deteriorated after thawing. The green onions preserved in this way are the most routine, and the green onions will not be hollow and dry after being enlarged for half a month.

2. Burying method: If you have a flowerpot or a small vegetable garden at home, you can directly bury the roots of green onions in the soil, about 10 cm. The soil should be moist, simulate the growth environment of green onions, and pull out one at any time when eating, so that green onions can be preserved for several months and are very fresh.

3. Refrigerator storage method: Put the green onion in the refrigerator, dry it without water on the surface, then cut it into several sections, wrap it with plastic wrap and put it in the fresh-keeping layer of the refrigerator, which is also very convenient to use and can ensure that the green onion is fresh and will not be hollow and dry for several weeks.
