But it depends on the weather. You'd better look at the weather forecast in advance. There have been many typhoons recently, and sometimes ferries will stop at Daxie. At the end of July, when I went, I just caught up with the tropical depression and the ferry stopped. I took a private car and ferry to Zhujiajian Island Island, and it only took me ten minutes to get to Putuo Mountain in Zhujiajian Island Island.
