In which month are there no cockroaches? It's so annoying

Cockroaches are not affected by seasons, but mainly by temperature.

The activity of cockroaches is affected by temperature. When the temperature is lower than 15℃, cockroaches are inactive or fretting. If the temperature is around 4℃, cockroaches can't move. When the temperature is below -5℃, cockroaches will die quickly. When the temperature is 15-37℃, the activity of cockroaches increases with the increase of temperature. When the temperature is above 37℃, cockroaches will be excited; When the temperature is higher than 50℃, cockroaches die. Cockroaches will die if the temperature is too high or too low.

Cockroaches are omnivorous insects with a wide range of food. All kinds of food, including bread, rice, cakes, vegetarian and cooked food, melons and fruits, drinks, etc. I especially like delicious, sweet and oily pasta. Cockroaches have the habit of eating oil. Among all kinds of vegetable oils, sesame oil attracts them the most, so some places call them "oil thieves".

Among sugars, brown sugar and maltose have the strongest attraction to them. Besides all kinds of food, cockroaches often eat other things, such as cotton and wool products, leather products, paper, books and soap in houses, warehouses and storerooms. In outdoor garbage dumps, sewers and toilets, they feed on rotten organic matter and even kill animals.

But different kinds of cockroaches have different eating habits. For example, Blattella germanica likes to eat fermented food and drinks, Periplaneta americana likes to eat rotten organic matter, while Periplaneta australis mainly eats plant food and so on. It is precisely because cockroaches crawl everywhere and eat everything that they pollute and swallow a lot of pathogens. Coupled with their bad habit of eating and pulling things, they have become mechanical communicators of some pathogens.
