Pediatric massage is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy, which is widely used in pediatrics. According to the etiology of children's fever, TCM can be divided into exogenous fever, yin deficiency fever, anorexia fever and other types.

Exogenous cold and heat

Clearing lung meridian (finger print from palm of ring finger to fingertip) is used for 300 times;

Meridian points: lung meridian (lung gold)

Location: the palm of the ring finger.

Operation: ① Reinforce lung meridian: rotate and push on the ring finger surface, as shown in the middle picture, about 200 ~ 400 times.

② Clearing lung meridian: Push it directly towards the finger root, as shown on the right, clearing it for 200 ~ 400 times.

Indications: fever, cough, asthma, chest tightness, sore throat, etc.

Qingtianhe (from the median of the medial forearm to the wrist transverse stripes to the elbow transverse stripes) 100 times;

Acupoint: Tianhe

Location: the medial forearm is centered, and the horizontal stripes are in a straight line from the wrist to the time.

Operation: Push the belly of the first and second fingers from the wrist to the elbow, as shown in the figure.

Push 100 ~ 500 times or so.

Indications: fever, irritability, thirst, sores on the mouth and tongue, convulsion and other heat syndromes.

Acupoint: Tianmen

Location: It is a straight line from the middle of eyebrows to the front hairline.

Operation: Start from the center of the eyebrows with two thumb surfaces and alternately push up to the front hairline for about 30 ~ 50 times.

Indications: cold, fever, headache, fatigue, convulsion, etc.

Moxibustion palace (from the center of children's eyebrows to both sides along the end of eyebrows to the tip of eyebrows) 100 times;

Rub the sun (press the temple behind the eyebrows) 100 times;

Acupoint: sun

Location: In the depression behind the eyebrows. There is a saying that the sun is on the left and the moon is on the right.

Operation: Two thumbs or two middle fingers rub on the left and right temples respectively.

Kneading forward is tonic, rubbing behind the ear is diarrhea. Knead for 30 times.

Indications: Exogenous fever, headache and dizziness.

Clinically, there are many exogenous fevers in children. If the fever is low, you can try the above methods to achieve the purpose of dispersing lung qi, relieving exterior syndrome and reducing fever. Generally, this kind of child's body temperature can drop after a massage treatment, and there will be a slight fluctuation in the afternoon. After the same treatment the next day, the body temperature was basically controlled in the normal range. This is convenient and can avoid the side effects of drugs. The onset of this kind of children is more urgent, and the massage treatment effect is better, but when the self-treatment effect at home is not good, parents must go to the hospital for formal treatment.

Because children's physique is different and their condition changes are more complicated, so children's massage must be treated differently according to the season, climate and symptoms. In addition, children should pay attention to changing clothes with the weather to prevent colds and fever. It's just spring now, and the weather changes greatly, and the temperature difference every day is also great. Parents must add and subtract clothes for their children in time to prevent colds.
