Zhang Wei (1913.05.22 - 2001.10.04), a native of Beijing, is a solid mechanics scientist, structural mechanics and engineering education expert.

In 1938 (the 27th year of the Republic of China), he received a master's degree in engineering from Imperial College London, UK.
