Typhoon closure level

Typhoon with magnitude 6 or above can stop work.

Going to work during typhoon emergency shutdown is not a rest day, and legal holidays and extended working hours are not overtime. When the outdoor typhoon reaches level 6 or above, the relevant outdoor staff should stop working. For example, when there is strong wind of magnitude 6 or above in the open air or bad weather such as heavy rain, heavy snow and fog, the lifting operation should be stopped. Typhoon of magnitude 8 or above may or has been affected by tropical cyclones within 24 hours, and the average wind force is above magnitude 8, so classes will be suspended.

During the effective period of Typhoon Yellow, Orange and red warning signal, in addition to requiring on-the-job staff, the employing unit shall, according to the work place, the nature of work and the needs of disaster prevention and avoidance, arrange for staff to postpone work, get off work early or stop working, and provide necessary avoidance measures for on-the-job staff and staff of the unit stranded due to weather reasons.

Matters needing attention in typhoon days

1. If you are outdoors, don't shelter from the wind and rain near temporary buildings, billboards, iron towers and trees. If you are driving, you should immediately drive to the underground parking lot or shelter.

If you live in a tent, you should immediately put away the tent and take shelter from the wind in a solid house. If you are on water (such as swimming), you should immediately go ashore to avoid the wind and rain.

3. If you are already in a solid house, close the window carefully and stick a "meter" pattern on the window glass with tape to prevent the window glass from breaking. If there is typhoon and thunder, lightning protection measures should be taken. After the typhoon, we should pay attention to environmental hygiene and the safety of food and water.

4. Open-air collective activities or indoor large-scale gatherings should be cancelled in time, and personnel should be evacuated. Don't travel to the area where the typhoon passes or swim on the beach, let alone go out to sea by boat.
