How is the frost formed?

Frost is generally formed by water vapor in the air near the ground directly condensing on the ground or near-earth objects with a temperature below 0℃.

Frost refers to white brittle ice crystals condensed by water vapor on the ground and near-earth objects or ice beads frozen by dew. Frost is white ice crystals that condense on the ground or objects when the air near the ground cools below the frost point due to the influence of radiation cooling on the ground. Frost is a weather phenomenon, which belongs to ground meteorological observation in China. Frost usually occurs from autumn to spring.

In meteorology, the first frost in autumn is generally called the first frost or the first frost, and the last frost in spring is called the last frost or the last frost. The interval from the last frost to the first frost is a frost-free period.

Common classification of frost:

In the frosty morning in the north-central part of China, the frosty flowers on the surface and above the surface of several grasslands are large and beautiful. Frost refers to the damage to crops caused by the attack of cold wave. Frost refers to the frost in which water vapor condenses into white crystals on the ground and the surface of objects with a temperature below 0℃. If the water vapor content is low and there is no frost, it is called black frost, which has freezing damage to crops.

Crops consist of many cells. When the temperature drops below zero degrees Celsius, the water between crop cells begins to freeze. It is known from physics that when an object freezes, its volume will expand. Therefore, when the ice particles between cells increase, the cells will be compressed, the water in the cells will be forced to seep out, and the cells will lose too much water.

The original jelly in it gradually solidified, especially after the cold and frost, the temperature suddenly rose again, and the water oozing from crops quickly turned into steam and lost, and the water lost from cells could not be recovered, and the crops would die. First frost is a weather phenomenon in autumn and winter.
