In the climate of Erenhot (1)

Go to Erenhot on business, a place I have never heard of. The sign of arriving at Erlian is to see two dinosaur sculptures kissing (it is said that dinosaur fossils have been found here), which is quite uninspiring. We went in summer, and it was very hot. We put down our luggage at the hotel and went to work on the grassland. It is clearly summer, and there is little grass on the grassland, which looks very yellow. Occasionally, a few grasses are yellow, lifeless and too short of water. The earth is directly exposed to the sun without saying a word. Back to the hotel, the tap water smelled of ammonia after boiling, so I couldn't drink it. The water quality was so bad that we had to order bottled water. Because of the lack of water, there are no mosquitoes here, so it's not so hard in the end, and we don't need the wind oil essence at all.

We didn't leave until we finished our work in winter. This is also the first time I have experienced a heavy snow road closure. I've only heard of road closures before. There is not much snow in the city, but it is very cold. Once out of the city, the snow on both sides of the road can't cross the calf, but slowly crosses the thigh and shoulder. The farther we go, the thicker the snow. Occasionally you can see snow shoveling snow, and occasionally you can see traffic police directing traffic. This road is too difficult to walk. Our car broke down several times, so we had to get off the cart and fall down once. Cars stuck in the snow can always be seen on the road. The most conspicuous thing is a truck with a shovel on it. As soon as the car sank into the snow, the driver came down to shovel the snow and envied those drivers who couldn't walk. Walking for six hours a day is an unforgettable experience.

In spring, I came to work in Erlian again, and the whole city was dusty. The cleaning aunt of the hotel said that the sandstorm was worse two days ago, and it was yellow. These two days are much better, although there is always a layer of soil on the windowsill. I brought some masks to wear, but fortunately, there was less wind and sand when I went to the grassland.
