What kinds of cucumbers are there?

The fruit is short and thick, with hard skin, sparse thorns and many black thorns. (3) European and American type This type is mainly distributed in Europe and North America, and there are also varieties in Eastern Europe and North America. This type has lush foliage, short and thick fruits, sparse tumors, black thorns or red thorns. Now it is used as the first generation hybrid in production and suitable for open field cultivation.
(4) Nordic type This type is mainly distributed in the United States and the Netherlands. This type of leaves are big and strong, fruits are smooth and spineless, adapt to low temperature and weak light, have few seeds or parthenocarpy, have no strict requirements on the length of sunshine, and are mostly used for protected cultivation. Almost all hybrids are used for production.
(5) Most varieties of South Asia type are local varieties that have not been sorted out and improved, and are suitable for open cultivation under humid and hot conditions in South Asia. Stems and leaves are stout and easy to branch. The fruit is thick and long, cylindrical, with few or no thorns, thick skin and light taste, and likes damp heat. Strict requirements for short sunshine time. There are many local varieties, such as Sikkim cucumber, China Banna cucumber and Zhaotong cucumber.
(6) Cucumbers are mainly distributed in Asia, Europe and America. This plant is short and branched. There are many flowers and small fruits, which are suitable for pickling, such as lacquer cucumber in Yangzhou, China.
