The car can drive to the lake (one lane, it will be miserable if there is a car opposite), so it is recommended to stop at the top of the mountain and walk to the lake for 5- 10 minutes.

Only a dozen kilometers, but I feel that Dazong Lake is still quite far from Xiahe County, and the scenic spots are almost at the top of the mountain, so I have to drive up the mountain. Like the ticket system in Bajiaocheng, it was collected by local Tibetans when they drove halfway up the mountain. In addition, there is a village on the way up the mountain in Dazong Lake. The rape flowers and terraces in the village are very beautiful. If it weren't for Xiahe's friends, we would never have found such a mysterious and beautiful place.

If it rains lightly, the immortal spirit of Dazong Lake will suddenly appear. There are many groundhogs here, but these little guys are thieves, depending on whether you can find them. When the weather is fine, you can take a walk along the plank road by the lake. There are many prairie dogs to feed by the lake, and you are not afraid of people at all. You can prepare more instant noodles and vegetables. They are really delicious.

Dazong Lake is just a small lake, with a width of 100 meter and a length of 200 meters. However, it is regarded as a sacred lake by local people. Every Tibetan festival, local people will bring highland barley and other tributes into the lake to pray for a bumper harvest and peace. The fluttering prayer flags give people an invisible positive energy against the blue sky, so we don't feel tired even if we walk around the lake at an altitude of more than 3000 meters. The general playing time is 2 hours.

This is a very primitive place, and scriptures are hung everywhere. The whole lake is calm and peaceful, giving people a mysterious feeling. The green lake is cold and clear, and it is also one of the famous holy lakes in Gannan, attracting pilgrims from all over the world. There is also a pedestrian trail around the lake, and the path by the lake is still a dirt road. The lake is covered with Tibetan prayer flags and Hada, and the campers and painters on the lake are very comfortable.

Groundhogs are called animals with faith because when they stand up, they put their hands together as if praying. Groundhogs here are not afraid of people at all because they are fed by tourists and monks. Not only will they not run away, but they will also ask you for food. The scenic spots here are currently being developed. Many people come to Dazong Lake not to see the scenery, but to see those lovely prairie dogs, prepare snacks and watch them eat what we feed them.

In fact, the main reason that attracts me here is that there are many Himalayan marmots around Dazong Lake, alias Snow Pig, which is the legendary online celebrity marmot, haha! Marmota Himalaya is a unique animal in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, so I really want to see these small animals. However, because it is the storage host of Mouse Yi, I still need to keep a proper distance. Before I went, I hesitated for a long time whether to feed them, but I was afraid it would be unsafe to be too close to them, so I am still struggling.
