If a room is opened at 8 a.m., when will it be a day?

Most hotels close the day until 12 noon the next day. Although theoretically a day only counts from 8 o'clock to 8 o'clock, the main function of the hotel is night accommodation, so hotel accommodation is not calculated by day, but by room/night.

There is no unified standard in the hotel industry for check-in time. Each hotel has different regulations for early check-in. Some hotels stipulate that if you check in before 10 am, you will be charged an additional half-day room rate, and if you check-in before 8:00, you will be charged an additional day's room rate. Some hotels also stipulate that if you check in before 6 a.m., you will be charged an extra day's room rate, but if you check in after 6 a.m., there will be no extra charge.
