Research direction of architectural design and urban design: absorb contemporary advanced technological concepts and study key issues in design under regional and cultural backgrounds. Use three-dimensional virtual simulation technology and comprehensively apply the results of environmental psychology, behavioral science, ergonomics and other disciplines to improve the scientific and technological content of urban medium-sized and large-scale public buildings and residential buildings, scientifically evaluate the technical and artistic quality of architectural creation, and promote And improve the design and theoretical research on green urban space environment and ecological architecture, and establish an ecological science experimental platform.

The research direction of ecological architectural design and theory in the South: Based on the "regional, cultural and contemporary nature" of architecture, innovate theories and concepts in the field of modern architectural design; explore ecological architecture in hot summer and cold winter areas Design methods; study architectural design principles and methods under the guidance of architectural ecological regional creation theory. Discuss the design principles of energy conservation and green health at the planning environment and architectural design levels. Explore the organic combination of regional architectural culture and the spirit of the times, and establish a sustainable architectural creation theory for the southern region.

Research direction of refined design of residential areas: taking healthy human settlement environment as the main object, studying the urban built environment evaluation feedback system and key technologies based on human settlement healthy environment, formulating and improving a scientific comprehensive urban human settlement environment Evaluation index system; research on my country's urban residential environment model and sustainable development strategy that coordinates economy, society and environment. This research direction has profound practical significance and broad theoretical application prospects.

I have established a research team on "Architectural Design and Urban Design" since 1995. After 15 years of development, it has formed a relatively complete and mature theoretical system, and the research content has a certain degree of technological innovation and relatively high quality. It has high practical value. The research topic has a good research foundation and a certain level of research. It has received funding from many projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels.
