Is there a sightseeing bus to the top of Mount Emei?

No one has reached the top of the mountain, but there is sightseeing bus nearby. From Baoguo Temple Station to Dong Leiping, Dong Leiping has almost reached the top of the mountain. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to Jieyin Temple and 2 minutes to get to the top by cable car.

Jinding is the main peak of Emei Mountain, with an altitude of 3077 meters. It is the end of Mount Emei, with many places of interest. Huazang Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty, towering above the rock roof, and the roof was covered with a layer of tin tile, which was also called "Silver Roof" in the Yuan Dynasty. There is a sleeping cloud temple next to the temple, which has a dining hall and guest rooms for tourists to stay and eat. In Jinding, you can watch the four wonders of Emei-sunrise, sea of clouds, Buddha's light and magic lamp. Jinding is adjacent to Thousand Buddhas and Ten Buddhas. There are also buildings on the top of the Ten Buddha, and a sightseeing cableway connects Jinding and Jieyin Temple (closed to the outside world after 2007).

Baoguo temple

Located at the foot of Mount Emei, Guobao Temple is the gateway to Mount Emei and the center for holding various Buddhist activities. This temple was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and was once called Huizong Hall. The temple is dedicated to Bodhisattva Puxian, the disciple of Sakyamuni, the incarnation of Guangchengzi, the founder of Taoism, and Lutong, a famous figure in the Spring and Autumn Period, which means that Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism are one. Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty took the meaning of "serving the country and benefiting the Lord" from Buddhism and renamed it the National Security Temple. The whole temple covers an area of nearly 40,000 square meters, and the mountain gate, Maitreya Hall, Ursa Major Hall, Seven Buddhas Hall, Pu Xian Hall and Tibetan Classics Building gradually rise along the central axis from front to back. There are elegant buildings such as Huaying Pavilion, Qixiangxuan, Yincui Building and Yueshan Room around.

Qingyinge

Yin Qing Pavilion, also known as Wo Yun Temple, is located at the intersection of black and white water at the foot of Niuxinling Mountain in Emei Mountain, with an altitude of 7 10/0m. There are statues of Sakyamuni, Manjusri and Pu Xian in the temple. You have a double flying pavilion, and there are bridges on the left and right, such as birds spreading their wings and flying, hence the name of the double flying bridge. There is a boulder at the intersection of black and white water under the pavilion, which is tall and shaped like a bull's heart, hence the name "Bull's Heart Stone". Liu Guangdi, one of the "Six Gentlemen of the Reform Movement of 1898" in the late Qing Dynasty, hung a couplet on the post of the "Shuangfei Pavilion": "The heart of the ox will last forever when Hong Ying flies in both places".

Jiulao Cavern

Jiulao Cavern is the largest cave in the whole mountain with a total length of about 1500m. The cave is divided into three sections: the first section is a hall corridor cave, which can walk upright and is about 120 meters long; The middle part is a maze cave with network crossing, about160m long, so it is not suitable to go deep. The lower section is a fractured cave, which is difficult to accommodate and few people enter. Jiulao Cavern got its name from the legend that Tian Ying, Ren Tian, Tian Zhu, Tian Xin, Tian Qin, Tian Fu, Tian Chong, Tian Rui and Tian Peng "Nine Old Men" cultivated immortals in caves.
