Shimen Temple refers to all temples above Santan Yinyue. About the Emperor, Dragon King, Gong Ling and Wang Mudong, among them, Chaoyang Palace, Taiping Palace and Sanxian Palace, collectively known as Shimen Palace, are magnificent and compact. Founded in the Song Dynasty, it is on the cliff of Shi Zhuang, located on the west bank of Santan. In June 1948, the 48th Regiment of Taihang Military Region fought fiercely with the Kuomintang reactionaries here, annihilating more than 4 enemy troops. In order to cover the main retreat and transfer, eight soldiers were ordered to stay and stop attacking. They were indomitable and bravely jumped off the cliff.
