Yu Yuan Garden

It's a famous garden in Jiangnan. Founded in the 38th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1559), it has a history of more than 400 years. The garden layout combines the architectural art of Ming and Qing Dynasties and is known as "urban mountain forest". The pavilions and terraces are rugged, the rocks are rugged, and the ancient trees are lush. * * There are 48 scenic spots, which have the characteristics of "seeing the big from the small". There are scenic spots such as Yulexie, Yulinglong, Wanhualou, Hexiutang, Cuixiutang, Inner Garden, Jiuqu Bridge, Lotus Pond and Huxinting.

Longhua Temple

Longhua Temple in Xuhui District is the oldest, largest and most magnificent Buddhist temple in Shanghai. Confucian temple

The Confucius Temple in Jiading District was built in 12 19, which is known as "the first in Wuzhong". "Danghu Academy" is the most complete existing ancient academy building in Shanghai, with a history of more than 270 years. There are large-character steles of Zhu, a famous philosopher and educator in the Song Dynasty, and stone carvings of books known as "four outstanding figures in Jiading" in the stele gallery of Confucius Temple, which have high artistic value.

Located in Songjiang District, the square tower was built in the Five Dynasties after the Han Dynasty (AD 949), with brick and wood structure, nine grids and a height of 42.5 meters. Following the structure of the brick tower in Tang Dynasty, each floor of the brick has a pot door, and most of the bucket arches retain the original objects of the Song Dynasty, which is one of the ancient pagodas in the south of the Yangtze River. There is a "classical garden" around the square tower. There are famous stones in the garden, such as Song Wangxian Bridge, Ming Lanrui Hall, Qing Tianhou Hall, Wulaofeng and Meinvfeng.
