The ancestral temple was built in the ninth year of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty (1636), and expanded in the sixth year of Qingganlong (1742), and it has always been fragrant. Since the 198s, the society and overseas Chinese have donated money for large-scale expansion, and newly built Tianhou Pavilion, Bell and Drum Tower and Mazu Stone Statue, as well as Mazu Monument Museum, Hailufeng Drama Facebook Garden, Fisherman's Style Museum and Mazu Cultural Square in Fengshan Park.

The Fisherman's Style Pavilion, with its graphic introduction, physical model and lifelike figures, shows the production and life of coastal fishermen and the beautiful and legendary fisherman's world. Hai Lufeng's Facebook Garden shows the faces of all kinds of characters in Shanwei's rare operas, such as Orthography Opera, Bai Zixi Opera and Xiqin Opera, which are the hometown of China operas. Located at Fengyitai on the top of Fengshan, the Mazu stone statue is 16.83 meters high and weighs 1 tons. It is carved from 468 pieces of granite from Mazu's hometown of Putian, Fujian. Next to it is the stone carving "Notre Dame", which was inscribed by Ms. Bing Xin, a famous Chinese writer. This stone statue is currently the largest Mazu stone statue in mainland China.

Fengshan is known as "the golden phoenix spreads its wings", and there is a hill in the east called Dinggai Mountain, and a hill in the southeast called Yuzai Mountain. There is a clear lake with an area of 22 square kilometers in front of the tourist area, which is called "three mountains and one lake". Standing on the top of Fengshan can not only have a panoramic view of Shanwei city, but also look around the landscape around the whole tourist area. Under the sunlight, it looks like a round mirror, and the reflection of mountains is spectacular.

There are eight scenic spots around Fengshan, namely, "Fenggang fights", "Matchmaker threads", "civilian boat dances with swords", "egrets and green birds", "Carp Waterfall", "Night Tour of Silver Lake", "Virgin of Fengshan" and "New Appearance of Ancient Temple".
