Municipal announced the technical evaluation score of water-saving society in the county.

Chongqing Water Resources Comprehensive Affairs Center held a municipal review meeting on the construction of water-saving society in Qianjiang District in Jinguan Hotel. Li, director of the Municipal Water Conservation Office, presided over the meeting. Zhang Zhi, a professor at the School of Environment and Ecology of Chongqing University, Cui, a professor at the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau, Hou Xin, a professor at Chongqing Vocational College of Water Conservancy and Electric Power, Ye Yan, an associate professor at the School of Environmental Resources of Southwest University, and Zhang Xianbing, a professor at Hohai College of Chongqing Jiaotong University, attended the meeting.

Through on-site inspection, access to relevant information, and after questioning and discussion, the expert group formed a technical evaluation opinion. The expert group believes that Qianjiang District has achieved the task of building a county-level water-saving society, and gave a report card of 95.6 points. The high score of Qianjiang District passed the municipal evaluation and acceptance of the county-level water-saving society.

The expert group believes that Qianjiang District actively carries out the work of meeting the standards for the construction of water-saving society, and the basic information of self-evaluation is informative, complete and standardized, which meets the requirements for the construction of water-saving society in the county. Qianjiang District attaches great importance to the standard construction of water-saving society, and the strictest water resources management system, total water resources consumption and control indicators determined by double control actions all meet the annual target requirements.

It is understood that through the construction of a water-saving society, Qianjiang has initially established a water resources management system with "three red lines" as the core, an economic structure system coordinated with the carrying capacity of water resources, and an engineering technology system for efficient use of water resources, and the social awareness of water conservation has been significantly improved. The management capacity of water resources in the whole region has been significantly enhanced, the utilization efficiency of water resources has been significantly improved, the supply capacity of water resources and the ability of water security have been significantly enhanced, and the construction of a water-saving society has achieved remarkable results.

The expert group suggested that Qianjiang District should further strengthen the research on basic water-saving work, strengthen the demonstration research on comprehensive agricultural water price reform, continue to increase investment in water-saving work, further strengthen water-saving publicity and education, actively promote unconventional water utilization, promote the construction of sewage recycling system, and increase the construction of landscape and rainwater collection system with public institutions as the main body.
