There are signs everywhere in Tangjiahe, which is of great help in finding wild animals. Read the sign carefully, there will be animals here.

Observing wild animals must keep a distance from animals, especially large animals such as Sichuan pronghorn, and keep a distance of more than 50 meters;

Don't take food in your hand where monkeys haunt, and take the rest of the food away and pack it;

Don't use a flash when taking pictures; Do not feed, seduce or chase;

Just use the trails built by the scenic spots for tourists and pay attention to the mountains on both sides.

Sichuan antelope

There are about 1000 national first-class protected animals in Tangjiahe, which is also a common animal here. There are mountains on both sides of Tangjiahe Scenic Area, with a river in the middle and a path sandwiched in the valley. Walking along the river, Sichuan pronghorn is afraid of heat, so it is easier to see when the temperature is low in the morning and evening, and generally appears in the mountainous areas on both sides. Sichuan antelope has a bad temper, and its simple and honest appearance is only an illusion. It is necessary to keep a distance of more than 50 meters when observing. If a Sichuan takin comes to you, you must stay away from it and get out of the way.

Xiaoji

The national third-class protected animals are also the most common animals in Tangjiahe. Of course, wild animals don't wait to meet tourists on the road, but they still need to be discovered with their eyes. Muntjac infests forests, open grasslands and hillsides on both sides all day. Muntjac, also known as mountain barking deer, is famous for its rough and urgent "whoa whoa whoa" call. If such a sound echoes in the valley, it means that the muntjac is nearby. Pay attention to the shadows that flash in the forest. If you find anything, don't chase it. Yellow deer is timid by nature. When frightened, it will run away immediately and disappear in an instant. Stand still and wait for the muntjac to appear. Red muntjac's defense ability is weak, but in the face of inevitable danger, male red muntjac will use the sharp horns on his head to contradict the enemy, so he should keep his distance when observing.

Hairy crested deer

National second-class protected animals are more neurotic and timid than muntjac. Compared with muntjac and takin, crested deer is more difficult to find. Pay attention to the depths of the forest, such as the forests on both sides of the stream that goes deep into Monkey Valley. If there is a flash of shadow, I am afraid it is too late. Scan the forest from a distance and pay attention to medium-sized and blue-gray creatures.

China gazelle

National second-class protected animals, legendary auspicious animals, Jiang Ziya's mount. China gazelle is a lone ranger. Because of its outstanding climbing ability, it often appears on the steep slopes of mountains and forests. Iguanas generally don't run when they see people, but they are aggressive after being frightened and must keep a distance of more than 50 meters. Pay attention to those coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests on the hillside, which are high-frequency places where gazelles haunt. For example, on the slope of ChristianRandPhillips Forest Small Ring Road in the uphill direction.

Tibetan chief monkey

National second-class protected animal, endemic to China, the largest species of macaque. Monkey Valley is a high-frequency place where Tibetan Emirates monkeys haunt. Once you enter Monkey Valley, you may find it. Observe the wild Tibetan chief monkey. Don't take food or feed it. At present, the Tibetan chief monkeys in Tangjiahe Nature Reserve still have relatively complete natural habits. Leftover food and garbage should be taken away. Don't throw them into the trash can outside the Monkey Valley, which will attract Tibetan monkeys to rummage.

Rock squirrel

Species endemic to China. Walking in the primitive wilderness, in addition to paying attention to those big guys, small creatures are also very attractive. Pay attention to the cracks in the valley. The rock squirrel was very alert, made a slight movement, immediately shrank into the crevice, and then disappeared.

After staying in Tangjiahe for three days, the animals I saw were just the tip of the iceberg. There are 72 species of national key protected animals, 0/45 species of birds/kloc (please refer to the previous article) and 2,422 species of plants in Tangjiahe, which is an easy-to-walk, relatively cheap and worthwhile biological gene bank for wildlife lovers, bird lovers and plant lovers. I will go to Tangjiahe again this year. This guide is really rough in introducing animals. Welcome to add.
