What's the life of South Koreans in Seoul?

On June+10, 5438, when I was traveling in Seoul, South Korea, I happened to meet two Chinese mothers with their three children on the subway and talked a few words.

The two mothers are Han nationality in Weihai, China, and Korean nationality in Yanbian. Weihai's mother married a mixed-race Korean husband and gave birth to a son, a daughter and two children. Yanbian Korean mother and Korean husband from China came to Seoul to work and settle down, and raised a son. Both mothers are housewives with children at home, but both of them have WeChat business, selling Korean cosmetics, slimming products, ginseng products and so on. As we all know, Korean ginseng and cosmetics are first-class and very popular in China.

They don't live in the center of Seoul, but they all live in the suburbs of Seoul. It takes about an hour by subway. The reason is only one word "expensive". Whether buying a house or renting a house is a big expense. Weihai's mother, married to her Korean husband, has a good condition and has her own house, while Yanbian's mother and her Korean husband came to Korea to settle down, and they have never been able to buy a suite in the suburbs of Seoul, so they can only rent it, and they can only rent it in the suburbs of Seoul because it is much cheaper.

I talked more with Weihai's mother who married her Korean husband. Speaking of giving birth in Korea, she said that the marriage rate and fertility rate of Koreans are very low, and many people choose to be single. Therefore, the Korean government has introduced many policies. For example, since their pregnancy, all kinds of examinations are free, some consultations during pregnancy, and all kinds of consultations of prospective fathers are free. After giving birth, there is also free help for the new moon. Wages, food and shelter are all government subsidies. Finally, it is free for children to go to kindergarten and go to college. In short, the Korean government attaches great importance to having children.

Weihai's mother, with better conditions, often goes back to Weihai to visit relatives with her two children. She said that she still has deep feelings for China. Although she is also learning Korean, she also lets her two children learn Chinese, so don't forget their roots.
