Where is the site of Heyimen Wengcheng?

Heyimen Wengcheng Site is a cultural relic protection unit in Haishu District.

Heyimen Wengcheng Site is located in the south bank of Yaojiang River in Haishu District, east of jiefang bridge and west of Marriott Hotel. On February 20 10, it was announced as the fifth batch of cultural relics protection units at Haishu district level. In order to sit on the north-south stone wall foundation, the wall foundation of Wengcheng is roughly east-west and the plane is convex.

According to records, Heyimen was founded in the 20th year of Yuan Dynasty to ZhengZheng Zheng (1360), also known as Yancang Gate, which is one of the six gates of ancient Yong. In the Republic of China 18, it was demolished together with five other city gates, and the archaeological excavation resumed in 2003.
