Where is Mulan's hometown?

Northern Zhou Dynasty (now Shangqiu, Henan).

Hua Mulan (4 12 -502) was born in Songzhou, Northern Wei Dynasty (now Shangqiu, Henan Province). Hua Mulan's deeds have been passed down to this day. She is an ancient national hero in northern China, loyal and filial, and famous for defeating the invading nation for her father's army. The emperor of the Tang Dynasty named her "General Filial Piety".

Mulan's father used to be a soldier, so she was raised as a boy from an early age. When Mulan was a teenager, her father often took Mulan to the river outside the village to practice martial arts, riding horses, shooting arrows, dancing knives and using batons. In her spare time, Mulan also likes reading her father's old art books. ?

During the period of Wu Tai (424-452), after the reform of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty, the social economy developed and people's lives were relatively stable. But at that time, the nomadic people in the north kept harassing the south, and the Northern Wei regime stipulated that each family should send a man to the front.

But Mulan's father was too old to go to war and her younger brother was too young, so Mulan decided to join the army instead of her father and began her long-term military life.
