The route from Nanchang to Tibet
It is best to fly. The nearest highway is: Nanchang takes the expressway to Wuhan, then takes the national highway 3 18 to the west, passes through Jingzhou, Yichang, Enshi, Dazhu and Nanchong to Chengdu, and enters Tibet via Kangding and Mangkang to the west. This Sichuan-Tibet line is the most difficult highway in China and possibly in the world. Or from Wuhan to the north, take the expressway to Zhengzhou, and go west to Lanzhou via Xi 'an. This section is all expressways (safe and fast), then go to Xining and Golmud, and enter Tibet through Tanggula Pass. This is the best way to enter Tibet.
