From coast to coast: a journey across two oceans
When I first set foot on this vast and sparsely populated land, I had the idea of going from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Although there is always a distance between reality and ideal, we never give up. How many years have passed, last year, this year, this year finally achieved the plan.
In the autumn of 20 17, I spent nine days in three provinces in the eastern Atlantic, which are often called the three marine provinces. Include Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. The journey is about five thousand kilometers.
Cavendish Beach, a red beach on Prince Edward Island.
Anne's little green house, green gable's former residence, Anne. This is one of the few cultural landscapes in Canada.
Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia. An ice-free port in the Atlantic Ocean. It is also the seat of the Canadian Ministry of Defence.
Peggy Bay fishing village Peggy Bay?
? Cape Peggy Lighthouse is a landmark building in the province, and it is indispensable in postcards. This is also a lighthouse still working in the Atlantic Ocean.
Hopewell Rock, Cape of Good Hope, Fundy Bay National Park, New Brunswick.
? The gap between high tide and low tide is 40-70 feet. A place that westerners think they will go all their lives.
? Ontario and Quebec in central China are omitted here, because they have been in and out countless times and are familiar with them.
In the early autumn of 20 18, I set out from Ontario again. This trip is to four western provinces: Manetho, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia in the Pacific Ocean. The coast-to-coast plan was officially completed. When my wish for many years is about to come true, I feel less excited and uneasy than in the past. Perhaps life has experienced countless ups and downs, and the clouds are light and the water is long, which is more desirable. Since the distant goal is no longer important, enjoy every section of the scenery on the road now.
Day 1 day
Toronto-whoa, whoa, whoa.
In the early morning, the car just entered 404, and it felt strange. After investigation, the rear wheel leaked air. After some twists and turns and repairs, I officially set off. More than three hours later than originally planned. Only the 404-400-69- 17 expressway is in running all the way.
? After more than 900 kilometers of galloping, when the sun sets, I arrived in Wowa Town.
? Wawa's mother tongue is "the land of wild geese".
The town stands the largest Canadian goose sculpture in the world.
? In the sunset, the goose quietly overlooks a golden lake and forest in the distance.
There is a waterfall not far away. Go there before dark. Ten minutes' drive, the end of the road is suddenly enlightened, and a magnificent landscape is presented.
"High Waterfalls with Beautiful Scenery"
When the sun sets, birds are tired, and there is no one in the empty valley. Only the sound of the camera shutter and the sound of the waterfall running water rattled in the humid air.

Wawa Kenora.
Leave W Town and continue on Highway 17. After an hour's drive, stop at a roadside town to refuel.
There is a bear statue near the gas station. A closer look shows that this is Baihe in Baihe Town.
? It is said that Winnie the Pooh's hometown in Disney animation is here.
There is also a big thermometer on the other side of the gas station. It recorded the extremely cold weather of MINUS 58 degrees here.
The morning fog has not dispersed, and we have been driving on the 17 expressway. Lake Superior is always by the car. Fog enveloped the winding mountain road. The speed limit of the expressway is 90 km/h. Arrived in Kai Nuo, Kenora later that day. Kenora was established with the appearance of Pacific Railway and Highway 17.
The abandoned old railway station has now become one of the landmark buildings in this town.
This town is the last one that passed before leaving Ontario. Just over 5000 people. Northern Ontario is sparsely populated, so there are limited places to stay. The night I stayed was the worst night of my trip. This is already in the central North American time zone. There is an hour time difference with Toronto. ?

Kenora Saskatoon
Today is the longest driving distance in the journey. It will span three provinces. Shortly after turning from 17 to 1, I left Ontario and entered Manetho Bar, Manitoba.
Myanmar province is a big province of grassland agriculture and animal husbandry. The scenery here is quite different from that in Ontario.
The flat 1 highway is flanked by fields.
After refueling in Winnipeg, turn to 16 highway and continue westbound. The speed limit sign shows120km/h.
The scenery on both sides is constantly changing, with fields, lakes, rivers, haystacks and barns. ...
? Take Highway 16 westbound, cross Myanmar, and then enter Saskatchewan. At dusk, I arrived in Saskatoon, Saskatoon, and I will stay here tonight. I walked from Ontario and Myanmar to Saskatchewan in one day. I walked nearly 1000 km.

The fourth day
Saskatoon Saskatoon-Two Mountains
This is a day when you don't have to get up early to rush. Because today you can walk more than 400 kilometers to your destination. It's two hours' drive from Saskatchewan to a small town called Lloyd's Name, Lioydminster. The eastern part of the town belongs to Saskatchewan, but the western part belongs to Alberta. When the car passed four colored steel beams in the town, we also entered the province. Also entered another time zone. There is a two-hour time difference between Alberta and Toronto.
At lunch time, we arrived at today's destination, two hills. The town is about 20 minutes' drive from 16 expressway. I came to visit a couple I met by chance when I was working here a few years ago. He is also the owner of the hotel we renovated. There are bars and restaurants downstairs, and rooms on the second and third floors.
After such a long separation, our friends prepared delicious Chinese food for us. The best is the wild duck medicine soup. A solution to the recent lack of taste. Wine is indispensable. Sip all kinds of wine in the bar.
A long time ago, I found a quiet town far away, opened a tea and wine shop, and spent the rest of my life with the people I like. It is the dream of many people. However, the owner gave up after five years of operation. Because the town's economy mainly serves the oil field. With the decline of the oil industry, business is no longer good. Standing in front of the guest room window, looking at the depressed street, remembering the prosperity of that day is very embarrassing.

I left the park and went to Edmonton, the capital of Albania. A city full of oil.
It was still early, and I went for a walk in the park next to Abbott University.

? When I got off the bus, there was a heavy snow. It is a rare experience to experience In the snow in midsummer.
Because I bought a sky walk and an ice sheet package. After coming down from the ice sheet, transfer to the park free shuttle bus to the glass plank road.
Hanging glass is popular in recent years, and it is also available in Rocky Mountain. There is no public parking lot in the scenic spot, only cars in the park can be parked. To come here, either take a bus in the park or walk.

It has just snowed, and the green pine forest under the snowy mountain is covered with a layer of snow, which is a beautiful winter scenery. Walking through the snow to find the lake and walking to the observation deck in the middle of the mountain, a blue star-shaped lake appeared in front of you: Lake Peto.

Warning signs of various animals will be seen from time to time on the expressway. But I haven't seen a bear. Enter 65438 +0 A and slow down to 60. Take your time. I soon found something.

Gonghe River flows to this special blue section.
? The Pacific Railway also appeared by the river. If you can go to the Rocky Mountains by train, it will be a great pleasure in life.
Banff town has become a very mature tourist destination. There are many hotels and shops in the town. If you want to visit sulphur mountain on the bus, the handsome guy at the ticket office knows that there are dark clouds on the mountain, so he will show the live video and make his own decision. Cancel the trip up the mountain immediately. I really want to give a compliment to the handsome guy. Perhaps only in Canada can such a good deed be done.
? After slowly flowing through the town, the Gonghe River suddenly ran down, creating the Gonghe Waterfall in front of us.
Stay in canmore tonight.

Banff-Whistler visa
? The bus goes from 1 to Highway 99 via Highway 97. Entered BC province. I also moved to a new time zone, with a three-hour time difference from Ontario.
The car is driving on Highway 99 where the speed limit sign is constantly changing. Roads are mostly built by cliffs in canyons, with steep slopes. It feels like walking in Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet.
? When the car was walking between the Marble Canyon and the Fraser River, it reached the town of Liluoette. A place where indigenous people live. It was once famous for its minerals and jade. Railways and bridges built by mining in those years are still in operation today. Only the railway was changed into a tourist train.
? Si Tong Lakers
? I walked nervously through the 1 17 curve, a thrilling section with rapids of mountains, rivers, lakes and waterfalls. Arrive at the destination of the visa.
