2. Hongyadong
Hongyadong is a good place to visit the old streets of the mountain city, enjoy the scenery of the two rivers and taste local food. The commercial street is located in Cangbai Road, Yuzhong District, the riverside area where the Yangtze River and Jialing River meet, with the "Diaojiao Building" with the traditional architectural characteristics of Bayu as the main body, built along the mountain and along the river. The night scene of Hongya Cave is beautiful. It consists of four parts: Paper Salt River Bar Street, Tiancheng Lane Bayu Style Street, Feast Food Street and exotic city balcony. With the Diaojiao Building, which has the most traditional architectural features of Bayu, as the main body, it can be called a mountain city scene by means of layered platform building, hanging feet, staggered stacking and cliff-facing. Food, shopping and sightseeing go into Hongya Cave, with dense diaojiao buildings on both sides. There are 11 floors from Yanjiang Road at the foot to Cangbai Road at the top floor. Interlayer has different functions, including restaurants, snack streets, bars and cafes, and local products shops. The top floor is not only an exotic city balcony, but also can be reached directly by elevator. Standing on the viewing platform, you can see the intersection of the two rivers from afar, and the scenery is excellent. Next to it are bonfire walls, bronze cannons and famous pirate bars, all of which make people linger.
3. ciqikou ancient town
ciqikou ancient town was a lively land and water wharf in that year. Step on the Qingshiban Road, taste local food and snacks, find a teahouse and feel the local customs of old Chongqing. Because it is close to the urban area, today's ancient town is also a good place for citizens to relax and entertain. According to the signs, there are more than a dozen streets and lanes in the ancient town, with buildings in Ming and Qing dynasties next to them. Of course, everything in front of tourists has been refurbished in recent years. But this does not affect your feeling of "old Chongqing" here. The ancient town is not big, so there is no problem walking around according to the signs. There are many scenic spots in the town, such as Zhongjiayuan and Tongjiayuan, which are typical mountain dwellings in eastern Sichuan and are worth seeing. The Baolun Temple in the town has a history of thousands of years, and you can worship incense and pray. There are also many teahouses on the street. Find one. Sailors and Paoge loved coming and going here. While drinking tea, I have the opportunity to enjoy the local folk arts, such as sitting and singing in Sichuan Opera, and voicing in Sichuan. The most famous snack: You can taste many local delicacies and snacks in the ancient town of Chenmahua.
4. Bai Mansion
Bai Mansion, originally the villa of the warlord Bai Ju, was used as a secret prison for political prisoners by the Kuomintang secret service in 1938. Jiang Zhujun (Jiang Jie), Little Radish Head and other famous revolutionary martyrs were once held, and it is also one of the prototype places of the novel Red Rock, which truly reproduces the cruel imprisonment life of that year. Bai Mansion, where Xiao Luobotou was held, was once held: Huang Xiansheng, a patriotic general against Japan, Zhou Junshi, president of Tongji University, Liao Chengzhi, a patriot, Song Qiyun, party member, Xu Linxia and his youngest son (that is, Xiao Luobotou). After the establishment of Sino-US Institute for Special Technical Cooperation in 1943, Baigongguan was changed into a guest house, and its detainees were moved to the nearby Zhazidong, and moved back in April 1947. Most of the revolutionaries were killed. In October 1949, the news of the founding of New China reached here, and the revolutionaries were ecstatic. More than 1 people, including Luo Guangbin, Chen Ran and Ding Diping, who were detained in Baigongguan Prison, could not calm their excitement. They made a red flag with a red sheet and a few paper-cut five-pointed stars. After the red flag was completed, it was hidden under the floor of the cell. On the eve of victory, all comrades except Comrade Luo Guangbin died gloriously.
5. Zhazidong
Zhazidong, located at the foot of Gele Mountain, a suburb of Chongqing, is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with hidden terrain. It used to be a small coal mine for manual coal mining, so it was named after more slag and less coal. In 1938, it was transformed into a secret prison by the Kuomintang secret service to detain and persecute revolutionaries, including the famous revolutionary martyr Jiang Zhujun (Jiang Jie). It is divided into internal and external houses, and the Zhazidong Detention Center is divided into internal and external houses. There are 16 male prisons and 2 female prisons in the inner court. Here, you can see the slogans written by Kuomintang spies, such as: "Youth is gone forever, think about it carefully", "Know clearly here and now, don't be obsessed" and "There is no end to the maze, so turn back to the shore". The outer court of horrible instruments of torture is the office and torture room of spies. There are interrogation tables, iron chains, bamboo sticks, pepper water, tiger stools and other instruments of torture in the torture room. On the wall of the outer court, there are slogans such as "What the chief can't see, think, hear and do, we should see, think, hear and do for the chief". On the eve of liberation, the Kuomintang set fire to the dregs cave, and a large number of revolutionary martyrs were killed.
