Hancheng: New energy helps the green transformation of "Coal City"

Recently, the Sanqin LNG New Energy Vehicle Development Forum initiated by Shaanxi Dayun Petrochemical Group was held in Hancheng. The newly produced Shaanxi Automobile heavy truck natural gas vehicle team was officially unveiled, which immediately attracted special attention from the industry. With the development of coalbed methane and solar power generation, Hancheng has taken a new step in the field of new energy development and utilization. Hancheng has built the first LNG new energy vehicle promotion and application demonstration park in Shaanxi Province. Not long ago, the provincial government proposed to build the new energy vehicle industry into a new pillar industry in Shaanxi in the next five years. At present, a large-scale coal chemical industry cluster has been formed in Hancheng area. The excess gas emitted by coking enterprises is purified and treated at ultra-low temperature to form liquefied natural gas, which has high efficiency, low cost and broad market prospects. Shaanxi Dayun Petrochemical Group, which has long been concerned about the development of clean fuels for vehicles, invested more than 100 million yuan this year to build an LNG new energy vehicle promotion and application demonstration park in Hancheng. It signed an exclusive agreement with Longmen Coal Chemical Company for 250,000 tons of LNG and ordered Shaanxi Automobile heavy trucks. It has 120 natural gas vehicles, ordered 60 LNG transport tanks from CIMC Enric, Jingmen Hongtu and other companies, and established a fleet of heavy-duty trucks fueled by LNG to deliver clean vehicle fuel to all parts of the country.
