Emperor Taizong and the Empress were very sad to hear that wuyue had died. They issued an imperial edict, named wuyue King of Chengde, renamed Wushan, added Wushan County, and sent Wei Chijingde to supervise the repair of temples and shape the golden body in the natural place of wuyue. Since then, incense has been burning here. Every year on March 13 (wuyue hanged himself), people from Shaanxi and Gansu will come here to catch the temple fair.
