Why is Shiyan called a ghost town?

Shiyan was named "ghost town" mainly because of the real estate market.

As of July 2020, there are many buildings under construction in Shiyan City, such as Hechang International City, Dameisheng City and Dayang Wuzhou, with an area of more than 2 million square meters.

Small as Wanxiu City, No.9 Mansion, Huaxia Mansion, Sifang New Town, Lanfei Creek Bank and so on. So many places are dark at night, and because of this, Shiyan is rated as one of the top ten ghost towns in China.

Shiyan City, also known as Checheng, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hubei Province, which is located at 3130 ′ ~ 3316 ′ north latitude and109 29 ′ ~1east longitude.

Shiyan title:

Shiyan has a long history. There were ancient people here a million years ago, and the discovery of "Yun Xianren" changed the monism of human origin. It was named after using water resources to build 6 weirs in Shending River in Shiyan District of Yunyang County and 4 weirs in Guanhe River in Huanglong District.

Shiyan is known as the truck capital of China and the commercial vehicle capital of China. Wudang Mountain, Hanjiang River Water and Automobile City are three world-class business cards of Shiyan. It is a regional central city at the junction of Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi and Chongqing, the core city of ecological and cultural tourism circle in western Hubei, and one of the three central cities in Qinba Mountain area.
