Legal analysis: you can stay in the hotel through other documents that can prove your identity. According to the relevant laws and regulations of public security management in the hotel industry, passengers should register with valid identity documents when staying in the hotel. According to the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, the identity documents of China citizens mainly include: residence booklet of the People's Republic of China, identity card, temporary identity card, passport, seaman's card, passport of the People's Republic of China to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and passport of People's Republic of China (PRC) to and from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Region on business; Officer's card, police officer's card, civilian cadre's card, soldier's card and student's card issued by China People's Liberation Army and Chinese People's Armed Police Force; Hong Kong and Macao residents travel to and from the Mainland; Travel Permit for mainland travel permit for taiwan residents and People's Republic of China. China citizens holding the above valid identity documents can register at the hotel. Chinese mainland citizens who really need to go through the boarding formalities without valid identity documents shall declare and verify their identity at the local police station. The police station can print the information of the passenger in the national population information database, and affix the official seal to the passenger as the proof document for handling the flight formalities.
