Brief introduction of Beijing Juepin Hotel

Juepin Hotel was formerly known as Zhengjue Temple. Zhengjue Temple, formerly known as Fazheng Temple, was built in the 11th year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (1475). Han Liang, an internal supervisor, gave alms to build temples. In the 20th year of Qing Qianlong (1755), it was renamed as Zhengjue Temple, and the name of the temple was taken from the meaning of "going to the other side of Zhengjue Temple" in Buddhist scriptures. Zhengjue Hutong starts from Huamian Hutong in the east and ends at Xinjiekou South Street in the west. In the Ming Dynasty, it was called Zhengjue Temple Hutong, which was named after Zhengjue Temple in this hutong.
