Li Yuliang of Yiqi Wulan Group
On August 1, 1958, Li Yuliang was born in an ordinary peasant family. The special era and family poverty prevented him from entering university as a matter of course after graduating from middle school. Instead, he picked up the farm tools used by his ancestors again and became an out-and-out farmer. Soon, he was elected by the villagers as a "private teacher" in a local village-run primary school.
In 1978, Li Yuliang enlisted in the army. He successively served as squad leader and acting platoon leader. The green military camp tempered his indomitable and courageous character. After retiring from the army, he worked as a coal shearer, then as a salesperson, workshop director, coal mine accountant, and deputy mine director. In 1981, after he was discharged from a certain unit of the Inner Mongolia Military Region, he returned to the small mountain village where he was born and raised in Buertege Township, Yijinhuoluo Banner. He entered the Shigetai Coal Mine and became a coal digger. Now more than twenty years have passed, and the shearer who took off his military uniform and walked into the coal lane has grown into the CEO of one of the top 500 private enterprises in the country with hundreds of millions of yuan in fixed assets.
