Why is drinking in a nightclub not called drinking, but called disco dancing?

Nightclub is a general term for drinking, dancing, singing karaoke, and stalls. Personally, I don’t think it refers to a specific item. It can be said to go to a nightclub to drink or to dance in a nightclub.

The place where you sleep is called a hotel, because in addition to providing accommodation services, the hotel can also provide catering, banquets, cocktail parties and other items, which is what distinguishes the hotel from ordinary hotels.

On the other hand, it is correct to call a drinking place a hotel, but no one would call a sleeping place a nightclub.
