In addition to displaying dazzling lanterns, the activities of the Lantern Festival also include music and dance performances, circus performances, anecdotes and riddles, adding a lively atmosphere to the Spring Festival.

In this light show, there is a special light show for the Spring Festival, featuring the peacock, a traditional auspicious bird in China. A variety of colorful peacock lanterns were displayed, including a group of large peacock lanterns with a height of more than 5 meters and a length of 15 meters. The beautiful peacock screen spans two pools, forming an arch and shining.

On the Lantern Festival, artisans from Guangdong, Macao and Hong Kong will also display traditional handicrafts, including Xiguan copper-playing craft, Tunxi mural painting, porcelain carving (porcelain restoration), guqin making and dough sculpture craft. Hubei Art Troupe, supported by the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, will also perform folk songs and dances and martial arts.

On the Lantern Festival, a carnival will be held in front of Kanggong Temple in Macao. The opening ceremony of the carnival will be held in the afternoon, followed by a lion dance performance and a parade of the God of Wealth. There will be booth games in the venue. In the evening, the carnival will present a variety of cultural performances, as well as solve riddles on the lanterns, Lantern Festival bidding and eating jiaozi, which will make people linger.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland. During the Lantern Festival, the 20th anniversary collection exhibition of Macao Museum is on display. Taiwan Province Taiwan Lantern Festival: February 19 to March 3.

Taiwan Lantern Festival has three main lantern festival districts: Dapeng Bay Lantern Festival, Pingtung Lantern Festival and Donggang Lantern Festival. It is the first time to break through the tradition and take Donggang Tuna, a non-zodiac animal, as the main lantern festival design theme, which conveys local characteristics and is full of harvest.

Taipei Lantern Festival and Kaohsiung Lantern Festival, also known as the three major lantern festivals in Taiwan Province Province, are also worth visiting. The theme of this year's Taipei Lantern Festival is "Dream" and "Heart". In addition to the main light show in the West District, the North Gate will also hold a light sculpture exhibition. The sculpture North Gate will be projected in a 360-degree way, accompanied by jazz and dance performances, so that the North Gate will present a blend of tradition and modernity.

With the concept of "Baohe", the Kaohsiung Lantern Festival will be staged on the banks of the Ai He River, showing the charm of Hong Kong color with four theme lighting areas: childlike innocence, nostalgia, charming starlight and amorous feelings.
