Master X and I will try our best to work out the arrangement and wish our team a complete, smooth and enjoyable trip to Xinjiang. In order to facilitate everyone's daily life in Xinjiang, here, I would like to introduce some problems that need attention in Xinjiang. There are 52 ethnic groups in Xinjiang, of which 13 is the main ethnic group. Most of these ethnic groups believe in Islam, so Islam is particularly taboo to eat "pig" meat, so you should try to avoid saying the word "pig" here, as well as pork and pig liver. There is a two-hour time difference between Xinjiang and Beijing. Please get used to the habit of staying up late these days. We will take Beijing time as the notification time. Because Xinjiang is located in the center of Eurasia, and Urumqi is the farthest city from the ocean in the world, which is famous for its dry and hot climate and strong sunlight radiation, you should drink more water and eat more fruits in Xinjiang, and don't be reluctant to use sunscreen and skin care products. Because Xinjiang people are broad-minded, Xinjiang people buy things in kilograms, so you have to adapt to this custom in Xinjiang these days. Let me briefly introduce Urumqi, a small border town. Urumqi, an ancient and young city, is the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The name Urumqi comes from the ancient quasi-Golmud dialect, which means "beautiful pasture" when translated into Chinese. In the Qing Dynasty, Urumqi was called Dihua City, which was always used for liberation. Because the name Dihua means "enlightenment" and contains ethnic discrimination, the name Urumqi was restored in 1954. The beautiful Urumqi has both the prosperity of a modern big city and the charm left by a famous historical city. It not only has the gorgeous style of the eastern city, but also is full of exotic customs in the western border. Urumqi is located at the northern foot of Tianshan Mountain and the southern end of Junggar Basin. It is surrounded by mountains, with water and fertile soil. It is a famous "hometown of digging strings, hometown of singing, dancing and smelting" in the ancient western regions. Urumqi River runs through the urban area from south to north, with Bogda Snow Peak at an altitude of 5,445 meters in the northeast and the majestic South Tianshan Mountain in the south. The west of the city is a magic mountain full of myths. Clouds accumulate in the sky, and cumulus clouds are rain. The red hill in the center of the city is small and steep, like a flying thing. On the top of the hill stands a blue-gray nine-grade brick tower named Zhen Long Ta, which is also the symbol of Urumqi. Urumqi has been the meeting place of many nomadic peoples since ancient times, and now it is the transportation hub of Xinjiang and even the whole country. Every day, hundreds of buses from nearly 50 routes run to all parts of Xinjiang. There are Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway to the mainland, South Xinjiang Railway to Kashgar and North Xinjiang Railway to Alashankou. There are also direct trains to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Lanzhou and Xi. Urumqi Airport has more than 70 flights every week, and there are also small flights to Xinjiang 10 places, prefectures, cities and counties, as well as large direct flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Xi, Lanzhou, Chengdu and Dunhuang. It has established cooperative relations with many big cities in the mainland and has extensive economic and trade ties with foreign countries. It is the political, military, cultural and economic center of Xinjiang. Urumqi belongs to temperate continental arid climate zone. It is the farthest city from the ocean in the world, with little precipitation. The annual average precipitation is 194mm, the annual average temperature is about 15.2 degrees Celsius, the frost-free period is 179 days, the sunshine hours are 282 1 hour, and the temperature difference is about 10.7 degrees Celsius. However, although there is little precipitation here, there is plenty of water because of the melting water of Tianshan snow and ice. Urumqi's unique geographical climate makes it rich in natural resources, such as coal, oil and natural gas. Nowadays, agriculture, industry, animal husbandry and commerce in Urumqi are developing rapidly, municipal construction is changing with each passing day, and the city has taken on a new look. Urumqi is a multi-ethnic city with a total population of about 210.8 million, of which ethnic groups10.3. Among them, Uighurs and Han nationality are the majority, and the rest are Kazak, Hui, Mongolian, Xibe, Manchu, Dahal, Uzbek, Kirgiz, Tajik, Russian, Tatar and other ethnic groups, with Han nationality accounting for 74% and ethnic minorities accounting for about 26%. Urumqi is a city with a young population structure. The population under the age of 35 accounts for 70.5%, with an average life expectancy of 72. 14 years, 70.58 years for men and 73.45 years for women. Various costumes, languages, religious beliefs and customs of many ethnic groups here constitute the colorful and peculiar scenery of Urumqi. May-10 is the tourist season in Urumqi every year. At this time, you can appreciate the elegance of the hometown of melons and fruits and taste world-famous fruits such as cantaloupes, watermelons, pears, apples, grapes and apricots. You can also taste ethnic roast whole sheep, mutton kebabs, pilaf, baked buns, roasted naan and so on. These flavor foods can be bought in major hotels, restaurants and markets in Urumqi. Urumqi's ethnic handicrafts are also world-famous, and all kinds of jade carvings, gem handicrafts, Uygur shawls, ethnic knives, embroidered clothes, carpets and musical instruments are all favorite tourist souvenirs for Chinese and foreign tourists. The beautiful Urumqi is a desirable place. From here, we will set foot on the "Ancient Silk Road" in the north and south of Tianshan Mountain. The beautiful scenery of ancient and modern famous cities and the splendid cultural relics in the western regions along the way are amazing. Dear friends, now our car has been driving on Beijing Road, which is the central traffic avenue in the new urban area of Urumqi (eight districts and one county: Shaqu, Shuimogou, Tianshan, Toutunhe, Nanshan mining area, Xincheng, Dongshan, Dabancheng and Wuxian). There are three-star hotels on both sides of the road: Tarim Hotel, and four-star hotels: Global Hotel, Tuha Hotel, Torch Building and Zhungeer Building, a large shopping mall. At the same time, the new city government, district library and science and technology museum are also located on both sides of the road. Now we are on Xinyi Road, an auxiliary road in the sand area. On the left is Xinjiang Medical University, and on the right is one of the nine parks in Urumqi (zoo, water park, people's park, Hongshan park, Shuimogou park, children's park, carp park, Xincheng park and botanical garden). Speaking of medical school, it was built in the 1950s and was designed for Russian designers, so now let's take a look. Dear friends, we are now on the road of friendship. The name of this road can be said to be of historical significance. Before 1957, it was called Friendship Road, and from 1957- 1978, it was called "anti-road construction". 1978 is also called Friendship Road. Speaking of this, everyone will understand. Now, on the left side of our highway is the Kunlun Hotel, which is what we call the "eighth floor". Because it is the earliest tall building in Urumqi, the name of the bus station is also called "the eighth floor". With the economic development of China and our region, the eighth floor is nothing to our region, and even some residential buildings are more than eight floors. At this time, on our right is the Great Hall of the People in the Autonomous Region, which was built in the 1970s. The equipment and decoration parts exceed the Great Hall of the People and are separated from the Urumqi International Expo Center by a wall.
