Can minors stay in hotels?

Legal analysis: Not in principle, but some hotels are not so strict, and you can stay for a little reason. Minors, who have reached the age of 16, can apply for ID cards to stay in the hotel, while those whose ID cards are under 16 cannot stay in the hotel, because those whose ID cards are under 16 are invalid.

Legal basis: Article 24 of the Measures for the Administration of Public Security in Hotel Industry shall comply with the following provisions: (1) Provide valid identity documents and cooperate with the hotel registration information; if no valid identity documents are brought, cooperate with the hotel registration information after verification by the public security organ; (two) stay with others, or provide registered rooms for others to stay, the actual stay shall be registered in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance; (3) It is forbidden to bring inflammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, radioactive and other dangerous goods and prohibited items such as control devices, obscene articles and drugs into the hotel; (4) It is forbidden to engage in illegal and criminal activities such as prostitution, gambling, drug abuse and dissemination of obscene articles; (5) When a person without or with limited capacity for civil conduct stays in a hotel, there shall be a guardian or other person with full capacity for civil conduct entrusted by the guardian.
