Self-driving Travel Guide from Changsha to Dawei Mountain

Daweishan Canyon Rafting+Two-day Tour of Forest Park

Itinerary: (Please book one to two weeks in advance to prevent the hotel from being full during the holiday season)

D 1: Start as soon as possible, then go to Dawei Mountain National Forest Park, and arrive at Dawei Mountain Canyon for rafting at 1 1:00 in the morning. Have lunch in the restaurant at the drifting place of Dawei Mountain Canyon. After lunch, take a proper rest and start the exciting rafting in Dawei Mountain Canyon.

Drifting ends at 4:00, and drive to Dawei Mountain National Forest Park.

Arrive at Dawei Mountain National Forest Park at 5:20, have dinner at Shanxingyuan Hotel, and hold a bonfire party in the park after dinner!

D2: Get up at 5: 00 in the morning and go to the sun-watching platform next to the top of the mountain to watch the sunrise.

Return to Xing Shan Garden for breakfast at 6: 00. After breakfast, climb the mountain and overlook it, watch the alpine grassland, and visit the ancient road to view Chen Zhenren Temple.

Drive to Yuquan Lake at 8:00, visit yuquan temple scenic spot and enjoy the scenery along the way! (3 hours)

/kloc-return to the park gate at 0/2: 00 and have lunch in the park.

After lunch, visit Chestnut Tree Scenic Area (2.5 hours): Dragon Palace, Tingfa Turtle, Shiqiangshi, LAM Raymond Waterfall, Patian Heritage Stone, Mushiyuan, Qingyun Temple and other unique spring landscapes along the way. If physical strength permits, you can continue to visit Chuandiwo Scenic Area and see Qiongtai country, mainstay and primitive secondary forest.

End the trip at 4 pm and return to a warm home.
