Longqishan nature reserve

An Zhenbao

Located in Yangtou Village, Huainan Township, Yong 'an City. Large-scale residential buildings, also known as "Chiguan City", are one of the most intact ancient rammed stone buildings in Fujian, and are known as "Fujian treasures" for their exquisite architectural artistic style in Qing Dynasty. Anzhen Castle was built in Guangxu period in the late Qing Dynasty, when bandits were rampant. The local squire Chi Jia and his son built this earthen castle to resist bandits, which took 14 years to complete. It is said that Chi Jia and his son visited Beijing many times to observe the architectural style of the imperial city before building the fort. After they came back, they used for reference and personally designed this Hakka paddock. The west of the castle faces east, with a square front and a semicircle back. It is built on the mountain and gradually increases. Seen from a distance, it has distinct layers and extraordinary momentum. It is no exaggeration to call it a castle.

Zhaixia Grand Canyon

Located in Zhaixia Village, fifteen kilometers northwest of Taining County. It is an excellent place to watch Danxia landform and the first geological scientific research route in Taining. Zhaixia Grand Canyon was discovered in June 2004. Now it is a key scenic spot of Taining World Geopark and a natural geological museum. It is composed of three canyons connected end to end, which are in a circular triangle, like a golden black dragon curled up in the mountains, also known as Jinlong Valley. These canyons are formed by three geological processes: water erosion, gravity collapse and tectonic movement. The first feeling of walking into the canyon is cool, lush vegetation and abundant water are the best natural air conditioners.
