Joe Cheng, male, 1962, from Hai 'an, Jiangsu.

Graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Nantong Normal University and the Graduate Class of Printmaking Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Member of China Artists Association and Nantong CPPCC.

His works were selected for international art exhibitions in 36 countries and regions and the 12th New Works Exhibition of China Artists Association.

1997 Up to now, 22 solo exhibitions have been held in China Art Museum, Jiangsu Art Museum, Xi An Mei Yuan, Beijing Kechuang Art Park, Beijing Hilton Hotel, Nicosia Cultural Center in Cyprus, Helsinki Cultural Center in Finland (China Culture Week), Suzhou Jiayingting Art Museum and other places.

His works have won the Silver Award and the Bronze Award in the National Art Exhibition, the Liao Award and the Lu Xun Printmaking Award in the United States, and have been selected in (Paris, France) 201/international exhibition of original prints and watercolor works, Artistic Conception. China > The Second China Art Award.

His works have been collected by China Art Museum, Jiangsu Art Museum, Guangdong Art Museum and at home and abroad.
