Corporal punishment hotel
A teacher in Heilongjiang saw two boys and girls behaving indecently in class and was punished for severely criticizing and slapping the female students. In this case, should the teacher beat and scold the students?
Recently, a controversial incident happened in Shuangyashan No.1 Middle School in Heilongjiang Province. Zhu, a female teacher in a graduating class, found that a pair of boys and girls in the class were too close in the classroom. Other students in the class also saw this scene at that time. The female teacher was so angry that she immediately took two students to the depths of the corridor and began to reprimand them.
"When you are your home, or a hotel? How did I teach it? " The female teacher's voice screamed and she was angry.
During the period, Zhu also raised his right hand and slapped the female classmates. Among them, male students whispered excuses from time to time, while girls kept crying and even begged the teacher for mercy, indicating that they knew they were wrong.
However, the female teacher did not stop reprimanding, but repeatedly asked: "Now I know I was wrong. What did I think at that time? Still shameless? You two get a room! Take me blind! "
This scene was filmed and quickly spread on the Internet, causing heated discussion.
On May 7, the Education and Sports Bureau of Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province issued a notice saying:
On the afternoon of April 30th, Zhu, a middle school teacher, found two students misbehaving in class. In the process of education, Zhu's words and deeds were out of order, and there were corporal punishment and abusive behaviors, which did harm to students' body and mind.
At present, Shuangyashan Municipal Education and Sports Bureau has set up an investigation team to communicate with parents of students. It is understood that this teacher, Zhu, was given a demerit and went to informed criticism in the whole city.
Seeing this news, I am extremely sad and angry, but also feel unfair for the teacher. In short, I feel very unhappy.
First, I feel sorry for the indecent behavior of these two students in front of their classmates in public places and in the educational environment of the school. I wonder how their parents educate their children in their daily lives.
Second, I am angry at the teacher's violent communication and educational behavior towards two children.
Although the teacher was indignant at the child's indecent behavior. Even in this case, you should not know the law and break the law.
In today's society, the Education Bureau and the public have appealed to teachers not to punish students. The state has also introduced relevant laws and regulations to restrain teachers' behavior. However, the teacher lost control of his emotions and completely ignored the feelings of the two children, slapping the students and hurting their hearts. This makes us angry and sad about the teacher's behavior.
When I first communicated my views on this matter with my husband's son, he was a third-grade student. He thinks the teacher's behavior is correct because the two students' behavior is too indecent. My husband agrees with this view.
There are different opinions about teachers' critical education methods. As a mother, I can understand the teacher's behavior. I don't think teachers want to see their students like that, do they? As a teacher, I think she should hate iron and not produce. If she doesn't criticize the child severely, it is estimated that there will be worse results.
However, no matter how angry you are, you can't just break the law.
According to the relevant laws and regulations issued by the state, the Education Bureau has also punished Zhu, the teacher involved, and informed criticism accordingly. However, this incident hopes to arouse people's reflection on student education.
Attachment: Relevant national laws and regulations:
1. According to Article 29 of China's Compulsory Education Law, corporal punishment of students is prohibited;
2. Article 37 of the Teachers' Law stipulates that "corporal punishment of students who refuse to change after education" shall be given "administrative punishment or dismissal", and "if the circumstances are serious enough to constitute a crime, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law";
3. Article 15 of the Law on the Protection of Minors also explicitly prohibits corporal punishment or corporal punishment in disguised form.
Corporal punishment is the behavior that teachers punish students' bodies and make them hurt, such as beating, making a stand, squatting, exercising beyond their physical limits, shaving, tearing their mouths and so on. Corporal punishment in disguised form refers to the physical and mental punishment of students in other indirect ways, such as labor punishment, copying too much homework, writing on the face, sarcasm, abuse, exposure and so on.
