20 19 Traffic Control of Chengdu Double Heritage Marathon

The expected 20 19 Chengdu Double Heritage Marathon will start smoothly on March 17, and the race will inevitably affect the traffic on that day. From 5: 30 on March 17 to the end of the race, temporary traffic control will be implemented for all vehicles except those holding the "20 19 Chengdu Double Heritage Marathon Special Vehicle Pass".

Notice of Temporary Traffic Control on Some Roads

20 19 Volvo Car Chengdu Double Heritage Marathon will be held in Dujiangyan on March 19. By then, more than 30,000 athletes will take part in the competition. There are three events in the competition: full marathon, half marathon and happy run.

The specific competition route is as follows:

1. Full Marathon (42. 195km): Longfei Gymnasium (starting point) → south section of Rainbow Avenue → intersection of Dujiangyan Avenue in the south section of Rainbow Avenue (turn left) → Dujiangyan Avenue → Tianyi Street → Park Road → Fuxing Street → Yu Zui → Moltan Scenic Area → emergency passage on line G 213.

2. Half Marathon (2 1.0975km): Gymnasium (starting point) → south section of Rainbow Avenue → intersection of Dujiangyan Avenue in south section of Rainbow Avenue (turn left) → Dujiangyan Avenue → Tianyi Street → Park Road → Fuxing Street → Yu Zui → Moertan Scenic Area →G2 13 emergency passage → Zhao Highway → Zhao Gong Bridge.

3. Le Run (5km): the southern section of Rainbow Avenue is near Xiangfeng Road (starting point) → the southern section of Rainbow Avenue → the intersection of Baitiaohe South Road (left turn) → Baitiaohe South Road (Jinjiang Greenway) → Inner Second Ring Road → Dujiangyan Avenue → Xingfu Road → Ancient City Parking Lot (end point).

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the competition and smooth road traffic during the competition, according to Article 39 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Road Traffic Safety, the traffic management department of the public security organ will implement temporary traffic control on some roads in a time-sharing and segmented manner during the competition. Second, the vehicles of athletes and spectators should be parked in a unified and orderly way near the Music Park (the scene of the Western Music Festival), Yong 'an Avenue and Tianfu Avenue in accordance with the instructions of traffic signs and the command of the staff, and take a short-distance bus to the starting point of the marathon. The organizing committee arranged a shuttle bus for the athletes in the parking lot of the ancient city. After the competition, the athletes were invited to take the shuttle bus back to the parking area. On-site parking conditions are limited, so it is recommended to choose public transportation.

3. During the competition, the bus lines involved in the roads in the control area will be bypassed by other roads. For details, please refer to the announcement or information on bus line adjustment during the marathon issued by the public transport management department.

4. During the competition, vehicles and pedestrians passing through the intersection along the competition should be diverted according to the command of the police and staff, parked at the designated place and queued for watching. After the game, the traffic should be resumed in an orderly manner according to the command of the public security police and staff.

Five, traffic control road traffic recovery time is determined by the traffic management department of the public security organ according to the competition situation.
