What does VIP 1 of the Chinese Life Club app mean?

VIP 1 is a star member, so you can use it by registering. The room rate discount is 15%.

There are individual members and corporate members, and individual members are divided into star members, silver members, gold members and platinum members and permanent platinum. Star-rated members can enjoy a 15% discount on the room rate, a 92% discount for silver card members and 1.5 times points, a 88% discount for gold card members, early and late check-out, double points and a 50% discount for platinum card members.
