Geographical location of Weitou Village in Fujian Province

Weitou Village is a village under the jurisdiction of Jinjing Town, Jinjiang City, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province.

Located in the protruding part of the southeast coast of Jinjiang City, it has a unique geographical advantage, bordering the Taiwan Province Strait in the east and only 5.2 nautical miles from Jinmen Island in the front. It consists of two natural villages with a total area of 3 square kilometers. The permanent population of the village is more than 4,300, the foreign population is 3,000, and overseas Chinese10,000.

On 20 15, Weitou Village was selected into the list of famous scenic villages in China. On June 6, 20 19, it was included in the fifth batch of traditional villages in China. In 2020, Weitou Village won the title of "National Civilized Village".
