From the map, Africa is far away from Nepal. If it is about 5,000 kilometers from Somalia, the nearest country in northeastern Africa, to Nepal in South Asia, the country of Nepal is one of the landlocked countries in South Asia. In fact, the African continent and Nepal are separated by the Indian Ocean, the third largest ocean in the world, and there is another country, the Republic of India.

2. Nepal Travel Guide

If you want to go to Nepal, you must first get a visa from the Nepalese consulate. Nepal has two consulates in China, one in Beijing and the other in Lhasa, Tibet. It is recommended to apply for a visa in Lhasa. As long as you bring your passport and fill out the application form at the Nepalese consulate, you can get your visa in about 3 hours. Once you have your visa, the question is how to get there. Usually it starts from Lhasa. Lhasa Gonggar Airport can fly directly to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. It’s the most time-saving way to travel by plane, but the cost is relatively high.

Due to work reasons, I often go to various parts of the country to shoot travel-related movies. I have also been to many countries and share interesting stories from my travels. I'm happy to answer your travel questions and provide you with truly valuable information.

1. Overview of Nepal: Nepal is a snowy Buddhist country where we are closest to God. Despite extreme poverty, the people here have the highest happiness index in the world.

2. Time suggestion: Three or four days is too short. I recommend at least 7-10 days of free travel. Of course, if you don’t have time, I highly recommend scheduling 5 days. This is the most efficient itinerary in Nepal.

3. Travel advice: If you prefer to travel independently, and if it is your first time to go to Nepal, it is strongly recommended to find a tour guide from China who works and lives there or a reputable full-time tour guide. This is the best choice, saving you a lot of troubles such as language communication, itinerary, transportation, ticket purchase for attractions, etc.

It is particularly worth mentioning that Pokhara is located in the Himalayan Valley, surrounded by mountains, nestled under the snow-capped Annapurna Mountains and Yuwei Peak all year round.

Kathmandu (the capital of Nepal)

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. Durbar Square is located in the center of Kathmandu, at the intersection of the Bagmati River and the Bhinmati River. It is the place where tourists are most concentrated. There are more than 50 temples and palaces in total, maintaining the original architectural forms and styles since the Middle Ages, which is dizzying. The city is surrounded by mountains. David Force

The Seti River stretches near Feiwa Lake and forms the most famous waterfall in the area, which has now been opened as a waterfall park. The park is not big, but you can see the traces of waterfalls and rocky riverbeds. Devil's Falls is called a waterfall, but only during the rainy season does it give people the impression of a turtle flowing straight down.

Yuwei Villa

The altitude is 6977 meters. The sharp corners of the fishtail peak are high and straight. At sunrise and sunset, the top of this snow-capped mountain takes on a golden-red color that cannot be described in words. The local food in Nepal is mainly rice, curry, fried rice, fried noodles, pizza and naan, and momo is a steamed dumpling. A standard Nepali meal consists of a bowl of vegetable soup of unknown content, rice and curry, rich vegetables and slices of meat.
